Heads up: Now that I'm at last in San Diego, with registration at the Bikram yoga teacher training to begin tomorrow at 1:00 p.m., I should probably warn whatever readers I have that my blogging for the next nine weeks will be at
The Sweaty Gazette. Blogging while attending training is not very original, but still . . . seems like the thing to do.
Culture shock: The traffic. Oh, the traffic. Freeways and braided overpasses and -- and -- well, I think I'm already getting used to it. Odd, that.

Viktor Frankl has walloped me again. Rereading "Man's Search for Meaning," I gained new insight: I need to find a purpose in life. It's never too late. I don't think I've ever had one, you know, though some of my family might disagree, insisting that driving them to ulcers and heightened consumption of gin
is a purpose, albeit not the most admirable of ones.
